Kim Morrison, an exploration consultant with Avenir Energy Group, has over 35 years of expertise in the oil and gas industry. He has held senior technical and managerial roles with leading companies, including Marathon, Shell, and Woodside, as well as smaller firms, contributing to significant oil and gas discoveries across regions like Australia, Southeast Asia, North Africa, and the Gulf of Mexico.

In 2011, Morrison founded KRX Energy, an exploration company that was successfully merged with ASX-listed Lion Energy in 2014. His educational background includes an Honours degree in Geology and Geophysics from The University of Sydney and a Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from The Securities Institute of Australia.

He is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia, and SEAPEX. Known for his hands-on technical expertise and strategic approach to exploration, Morrison continues to drive success for Avenir Energy Group.

Somchai Aursirisuk's total experience over 30 years in upstream petroleum industry with Unocal and Chevron. Worked, managed, or oversaw almost all aspects of the business from production, engineering, construction, and exploration in Oil & Energy in various companies as a Consulting Geophysicist​

Visit brings a wealth of experience in both technical and management roles within the energy sector, both in Thailand and internationally. His career began with ground water exploration at DMR in 1980, followed by geothermal projects with EGAT until 1987. He then transitioned to petroleum exploration and development with Unocal, working in both Thailand and the U.S. until 2003. Visit managed assets for PTTEP in Myanmar, Southeast Asia, and Oman, and concluded his career as COO of a coal mining subsidiary of PTT in Indonesia in 2018. Currently, he serves part-time as a Consultant for Avenir.

He holds a degree in Geology from Chiangmai University, a certification in Energy Technology from the Geothermal Institute at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and a Master of Management from Sasin.

Denis Bouclin is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, with extensive expertise in well and reservoir management. Over his career, he has played a pivotal role in optimizing production and maximizing asset value in both mature and newly developed fields. Denis has a strong track record in problem well analysis, where he identifies and resolves complex operational challenges to enhance well performance and ensure asset integrity.

His experience in brownfield redevelopment has been instrumental in revitalizing aging fields, unlocking untapped potential, and extending field life. Denis also excels in evaluating new ventures, providing strategic insights and comprehensive analyses to guide investment decisions and assess project viability.

Pasuk's strategic expertise is in all kinds of drilling project management, from greenfield exploration and development to brownfield optimization in both onshore and offshore oil and gas upstream operations, with more than 30 years of drilling and workover experiences from rig contractor roustabout to oil and gas operator senior management.

He started with the Pool International workover rig in Saudi Arabia in 1976. In 1979, he left the rig for a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University (Class of 1984). Since 1984, his track record of drilling project management skills has begun as the rig site Drilling Supervisor and ended up as Drilling Superintendent in 2002 for Unocal Thailand. After that, he became an independent drilling advisor for Chevron Thailand, PTTEP Myanmar, Elite Drilling Services, PTTEP Australia, Coastal Energy Malaysia, PTTEP Thailand, and KrisEnergy Cambodia. He is currently a part-time Drilling Consultant for Avenir.

Dr. Anun Chonchawalit is Senior Vice President at PTT Exploration & Production Plc (PTTEP) and a director of 15 companies, including Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Co., PTTEP Africa Investment Ltd., and PTTEP Oman E&P Corp. With over three decades of experience, he has held leadership roles such as Chairman of Cove Energy Ltd., Director of PTTEP Netherlands Holding Coöperatie UA, and Manager of Business Development at Total E&P Thailand.

Dr. Chonchawalit holds a doctorate from the University of British Columbia, a master’s degree from the Asian Institute of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree from Chiang Mai University. He is a subsurface exploration expert with significant expertise in M&A, stakeholder management, and commercial negotiations. His strategic leadership has driven value creation across Thai and international energy companies, contributing to PTTEP’s growth and its global ventures.
